What is Controlmotion Software?

We are happy to announce that we are working with a new Controlmotion update, with many additional advanced functions. Meanwhile, we want to remind you, our beloved partner about the current useful features of Controlmotion software.

What Is Controlmotion Software?

As always, it’s good to start at the beginning. Readers who are familiar with CM, just skip the first chapter. What is Controlmotion software? It’s remote technical software. It enables easy maintenance and support. With the software imotion units analyses themself and calls for service in case of failures, collect information from system condition and operating data which are essential to eliminate failures and prevent critical damage to unit components.

How Can I Access Controlmotion Software?

Access to the Controlmotion web UI is possible locally or remotely. Locally you just need to click Controlmotion under the start menu in Windows and sign in with credentials. The same goes for remote access, but instead of app login, Controlmotion is accessible through a dedicated IP address.

While for local access there is no need for any setup, for remote access initial setup is needed. This is usually done only once, at the time of the unit installation. For detailed instructions please refer to Controlmotion installation document.

What Is a Controlmotion Subscription?

All information regarding unit status can be periodically sent to various email addresses. So, in case of any failure alert can be automatically sent to the system administrator email address. We can not stress enough that at least subscription to critical errors is strongly recommended. With critical error subscription potential failures are supervised, can be solved quickly and critical damage to unit components can be avoided.
