Brief

Norway national football stadium Ulleval purchased two custom build outdoor advertising screens capable of surviving worst of cold, direct sun exposure and vandalism. Custom made, very tall double side 55” advertising billboards are placed to maximize exposure to visitors.


Situation analysis

Goal of stadium management was to increase advertising revenues and to replace existing static outdoor signage to sell digital advertising space. Beside regular Scandinavian outdoor issues (cold, low horizon sun, did we mention cold) digital advertising billboards had to be very tall to be visible when fans start flocking in.
 
Solution
Deployment of two custom made double side advertising digital LCD signs at the front of the venue. Displays start at height of 2,5 m to maximize number of visual contact with visitors.
 
Public display
Custom made imotion 55” landscape double side, with integrated sunlight readable transflective LCD panels, using ambient light for additional brightness output when needed. Client additional demand was integration of static LED backlit location map for wayfinding.
