Brief

Entrance signs at Wales castles are helping management to promote services, events and activities as well as create experience for visitors right at POS.


Situation analysis
Reglan, Coch, Criecieth and Tintern Abbey sites are very popular Welsh tourist destinations. Sites are well taken care of and as such offer multitude of services and activities for visitors. However, most of the tourists are rarely aware of additional services and are overwhelmed once inside the castle.
 
Solution
Management wanted simple communication device before entering 10 of its castles. This would guarantee much better-informed visitors right at the point of sale and higher revenues as well as higher experience levels. Now visitors would know what are all the service options and events taking place. With dynamic graphics and innovative contents, it allows users to raise attention and create the “servicescape” environment. As this is new approach for clients, they stared with two castles, and now after confidence grew they have expanded to 5 out of 10 sites in total.

imotionG6 47” portrait freestanding units were the choice due to its ruggedness and warranties, as client wanted to minimize after purchase costs and problems after the installation.
